Anke Meyer-Baese Biography
Anke Meyer-Baese has received her MS and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Darmstadt University of Technology, in 1990 and 1995, respectively. She is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Scientific Computing of the Florida State University. Her research interests lie in the area of signal processing and neural networks with emphasis on medical applications, where she has published over 140 journals, conferences, and book chapters. She is the author of the book titled Pattern Recognition for Medical Imaging, published by Academic Press in 2003, and coauthored a book titled Biomedical Signal Analysis: Contemporary Methods and Applications, published by MIT Press in 2010. She has been the recipient of many awards from a variety of agencies, such as NSF and NIH and she has received a number of research accolades for her contributions in the field.
