Welcome to the website of the Machine Learning Laboratory (ML2) of UCF! We are located in room 331of the Harris Engineering Complex on UCF’s main campus in Orlando, Florida (see map).

Our efforts aim at contributing to the state-of-the-art of several areas of Machine Learning, such as kernel-based methods, multi-task learning, metric learning, model selection methods, stochastic optimization and evolutionary approaches. Recently, “big data” and deep learning have become of particular interest to us.

Find out more about who we are under People, search through our Publications or browse a few selected Research topics that we have recently pursued. Occasionally, we post a few lab-related News. If you need to communicate with us, please visit our Contact page.

Mrs. Mahlagha Sedghi is joining our lab

Mrs. Mahlagha Sedghi will be joining the ML2 in August 2014 to pursue a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering. She is a native of Iran and is a graduate of Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
