Dimitrios Charalampidis Biography

Dimitris Charalmpidis received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology from the University of Patras in 1996. He also received his MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Central Florida in 1998 and 2001, both in Electrical Engineering, respectively. Since 2001, he is with the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of New Orleans, where he is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair. His research interests lie in the areas of signal/image processing, neural networks and remote sensing applications, where he has published over 50 papers in journal sand conferences.
