ART Neural Networks: Theory and Applications The students in this class will be exposed to the important theory of ART Neural Networks. In particular, important ART neural network architectures, associated ART learning algorithms, ART learning properties and successful ART applications will be emphasized. The detailed exposition of the ART theory and applications are included in the word document provided. Prior to the elaboration on ART neural networks an introduction to the theory of neural networks (definition, capabilities, types of learning, types of problems that the neural networks solve, important network architectures, etc.) will be provided. The introduction to the neural networks is combined in the two pdf documents that are included. The ART neural network theory is included in the word document provided below.
